OffsetCarbonFootprint.org was created to make it easy for people and companies to fight Global Warming through the storage of Greenhouse gases. We have a selection of various projects that our customers can contribute to in order to offset their Carbon Footprint. Our goal is to make offseting carbon footprints as inexpensive and easy as possible. In addition we need to educate the public about the dangers of Global Warming and how they can take action steps effect actual environmental change.

OffsetCarbonFootprint.org is an ethical non profit organization dedicated to making a difference to our environment, through the reduction and sequestration of Greenhouse gases which are the principal cause of Global Warming. OCF.org also has a primary duty to educate the public to the dangers of Global Warming and how, by taking simple steps, they can reduce their impact on the environment.

OffsetCarbonFootprint.org was started by Michael Kitson a long time concerned environmentalist. His donations and guidance have made it possible to initiate OCF.org

It our goal to offer carbon offsets at the best possible pricing. How do we do this? Through a low overhead and the efficiencies offered by the internet. In addition we contract directly with the private, and public landowners. If for any reason you can purchase carbon offsets for less on the same or similar project for less we will refund you the difference.
Satisfaction Guarantee:
If for any reason, you wish to cancel your order, you have 30 days to request a refund and we will refund your monies and reverse your carbon credits. We will retain 20 percent of your contribution for handling fees.
Verification Processes:
OffsetCarbonFootprint.org guarantees that your contributions are directly converted into action to reduce Greenhouse Gases. We issue a Certificate of Performance stating that the contributor has offset his carbon footprint for the amount of tonnes that he has purchased. But beyond that how can the contributor be sure that we do what we promise to do? All our projects have "verification prescriptions" that are documented and adhered to to ensure your carbon credits are realized in actuality. We utilize two internationally recognized organizations whose recommended procedures and policies have become standards to which legitmate carbon sequestration projects adhere to.
These organizations are International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) and the Climate, Community & Biodiversity Alliance (CCB). These organizations set the standards by which our projects adhere.
We recommend contributors visit their websites for the detailed standards which we adhere to. Below we are listing some of the major goals to their standards.
(a) Real- The projects must take place.
(b) Measurable- All projects must be measurable
(c) Permanent- All projects must not be likely reversed. Safeguards must be in place to make reversals minimal and if it does take place a mechanism is in place that guarantees that the emission reduction will be replaced immediately.
(d) Additional- The actions taken are in addition to what would have normally taken place.
