For each $25.00 Donation 25 trees will be planted replacing dead, or harvested trees. Forest companies only replant to certain standards. OffsetCarbonFootprint.org contracts with them to plant in higher density's, which are still well within the optimum growth standards. The trees have a 98 percent survival rate and the replanted species are those that are native in the area. The ownership of the trees is the Province of British Columbia which manages over 24 million hectares of land. The Provinces Professional Foresters will manage and promote the growth of the trees for the life time of the tree which could be greater than 400 years!
